Sallie Calhoun owns and manages Paicines Ranch, a 7600-acre ranch in central California. She is also an impact investor, activist, and philanthropic funder in regenerative agriculture. Her work focuses on improving the health of agricultural soils and sequestering carbon in soil to mitigate climate change, while creating thriving communities. She is the founder of the No Regrets Initiative, which seeks to use a wide variety of forms of capital—human, natural, investment, and philanthropic—to affect change in the agricultural system.

Calhoun was born in Knoxville, TN and received a BSEE degree from Rice University. She worked in engineering and engineering management at a variety of high-tech firms for 25 years. From 1994 to 2000, she served as VP Operations and CFO for Globetrotter Software, Inc., which she co-owned with her husband Matt Christiano. In 2001, they sold the software company and purchased Paicines Ranch, which has been a working ranch since the mid-1800s. Since then she has operated the ranch implementing holistic management to improve the health of the soil, increase biodiversity, and produce grass-fed beef and lamb. Every year, dozens of ranchers, farmers, activists, philanthropists, sustainable agriculture investors and conservationists attend seminars at Paicines Ranch’s conference center.

She is the managing member of Cienega Capital, an impact investing firm, and the president of the Globetrotter Foundation, a family foundation. She has served on a variety of for-profit and non-profit boards, including Holistic Management International, Sierra Cascade Nursery, Agrarian Trust, and Estancia Beef. Sallie Calhoun loves to play tennis, hike, and travel.

Roshan 'Ro' Mehdizadeh Corsiglia is a Senior Director at Google, where she oversees Technology & Governance within the Real Estate Workplace Services & Global Security and Resilience Services (REWS & GSRS) organization. Her expertise spans technology, sustainability, and real estate, as evidenced by her numerous peer-reviewed publications and patents.

She also influences the industry through her positions on the Dean's Advisory Council at Johns Hopkins University and the Industry and Technical Advisory Boards at Stanford University, and serves on the Futures Council within the Design-Building Institute of America (DBIA) and the Innovation Council within Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Ro holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, where she also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Engineering. Her academic background includes a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University, as well as a Master's in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. In 2019, her leadership and influence were recognized with "Women of Influence" awards from both the Silicon Valley Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ro is a former 16-time All-American swimmer and a two-time U.S. Olympic trials competitor.

Author, speaker, and corporate advisor Maisie Ganzler is the go-to expert on how companies can make positive change in supply chains and other entrenched systems. Driving strategy for Bon Appetit Management Company, a $1.7 billion company with 1,000-plus cafés at corporations, universities, and cultural institutions in 33 states serving more than 250 million meals per year, Maisie tackled local purchasing, antibiotics in meat production, sustainable seafood, humane care of farm animals, climate change, farmworkers’ rights, and food waste, positioning the company as the foodservice industry’s undisputed leader in sustainable purchasing and holistic wellness. She’s been interviewed by leading media outlets including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, Fast Company, and Bloomberg, spoken at conferences around the world, written thought leadership pieces for Forbes, Huffington Post, and the San Francisco Chronicle and is frequently called upon for strategic counsel by start-ups and big business alike.

She is also the author of You Can’t Market Manure at Lunchtime: and Other Lessons from the Food Industry for Creating a More Sustainable Company (Harvard Business Review Press, April 2024), a practical how-to guide for building an authentic brand based upon sustainability, no matter the industry.  

Heather Malin, PhD is a leading researcher and consultant in youth purpose development and education. As the senior director of research for the Stanford University Center on Adolescence, she conducted field-defining studies of youth purpose development. She is the author of Teaching for Purpose: Preparing Students for Lives of Meaning. Dr. Malin serves as an advisor and consultant for purpose learning organizations, including Open Future Institute, Wayfinder, nXu, and Future Coach. Her career in developmental psychology and education spans over 20 years, during which she taught art, led professional development workshops for teachers, evaluated education programs, and mentored pre-service teachers in the Stanford Teacher Education Program.

Tesha McCord Poe, J.D., M.B.A., is deeply dedicated to the art of fundraising and fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. With a humble yet impactful presence, she serves as an author, TEDx speaker, nonprofit board leader, attorney, and the founder & CEO of Joy-Raising—a firm committed to providing strategic support in fundraising and DEIB initiatives. Joy-Raising hosts several signature events including The Summit- a conference for people ofcolor in philanthropy and The Academy-- an upcoming fall conference for all dedicated to the fundamentals of inclusive fundraising. 

In her journey as a frontline fundraiser, Tesha has been privileged to contribute to efforts that have collectively raised over $100 million. Her foray into fundraising began with trepidation as the Chief Advancement Officer at Hillbrook School in Los Gatos, where she also oversaw Admissions and Communications. Her relationship with the school has continued as a trustee, consultant, alumni parent and friend of the school. 

Building on this experience, Tesha continued to lend her talents as the Chief Advancement Officer at Castilleja School in Palo Alto, and later, at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula and The Girls Middle School during which time she founded Joy-Raising and also served as Interim Head of School during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beyond her local contributions, Tesha extends her reach globally as the board chair for the Mariposa Foundation in the Dominican Republic, and as a member of the boards of EatReal, Challenge Success, and Prospect Sierra School, where she seeks to make a positive impact on education and wellness.

Together with her coauthor, Tesha shares her insights on resilience and healing in the book "Beyond Widow," a testament to the human spirit's capacity to overcome adversity. Her academic journey includes degrees from Barnard College, Columbia University (undergraduate), Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.), and Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law (J.D

Matt Mahan is the 66th Mayor of San José. He formerly served as a teacher through Teach for America, before entering the business world where he founded and grew companies dedicated to empowering neighborhoods and holding our government accountable. These core tenets remain key to his policy priorities as he pledges to focus our city government on the basic quality of life issues that impact us every single day. He currently resides in San José with his wife, Silvia, and their two children.

Mr. Greg Morrissey (M.A.) is the founder of Mountain Goat Movement. In addition to teaching high school literature and head coaching a lacrosse program, Greg has spent the last ten years creating human-powered adventures for high school and college students in the greater NYC area. He has led thousands of young people on treks, climbing trips, surf trips, ski trips, sustainability programs, and more both domestically and internationally. He has also has raised over $100,000 for financially-restricted students to participate in meaningful outdoor excursions. Greg has presented his work at the American Alpine Club’s annual dinner and the venerated Explorers Club. Greg serves in advisory roles in the Next Generation of Explorers, The Explorers Club, Scientific and Exploration Society, and the American Alpine Club.

He is an ambassador for Arc’teryx NY as well as a contributing writer for KAVU. Personal projects include bikepacking from Canada to Mexico, surfing the longest wave in the world, wild camping in Ireland, and numerous mountain climbs and traverses.

Kim was born and raised in the Bay Area. She attended Duke University for undergraduate education where she met her husband Chris, and went on to Boston University for her medical education  She chose Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara for residency as she felt that the unique philosophies and practice beliefs of the institution both attracted and retained the top physicians in the field. By staying at the forefront of medical technology, research, and evidence-based medicine, Kim and her team are able to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. She stayed on after residency and has been the Assistant Chief of the OBGYN department since 2023. She specializes in complex gynecologic surgery, pelvic pain, vulvar disorders, and endometriosis and started performing robotic surgery in 2015. She is the proud mom of 3 kids who attend Hillbrook.

Bronwyn is a keynote speaker, host of 20 Minutes with Bronwyn podcast, authentic communication coach, and writer of the only emails anyone actually looks forward to opening. 

Bronwyn is on a mission to help visionary leaders become spellbinding communicators. She has prepared clients for television appearances on American Idol, Real Time with Bill Maher, and the Oprah Show, and has midwifed over a hundred and twenty TEDx, TED Global, and TED talks. 

Bronwyn also delights in helping teams realize their full potential as communicators through her workshops and keynotes, working with global brands like Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Pfizer, Stanford University, and Zoom to name a few.

Dr. Stanton is a licensed Clinical Health Psychologist and Associate Professor of Public Health at California State University, East Bay. Dr. Stanton's research examines how stress affects health, with a particular focus on weight gain/loss, and his clinical work integrates mindfulness with cognitive behavioral therapy to treat both mental and physical health problems. Dr. Stanton
is also a guest contributor to several news stations including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, NPR, the SF Chronicle and other media, where he adds psychology and public health expertise to the analysis of current events. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a focus in Behavioral Medicine, from Duke University, completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford University, and received his B.A. from Brown University.

Dr. Paula Wilbourne is a clinical psychologist and serial digital health entrepreneur dedicated to advancing mental health through innovative technology. With over 20 years of experience, she has held pivotal roles, including the National Deputy Director for Substance Use Disorders at VA, where she helped respond to the veteran suicide crisis. Dr. Wilbourne specializes in program development, implementation science, and integrating digital healthcare solutions. A Ph.D. graduate in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Mexico, she is a prolific researcher on substance use and behavior change. She maintains a private practice helping individuals and families recover from addiction.
